London's Green Parakeets?

Perhaps you have noticed that my time-jumping characters in the Time-Crossed series must pass through London's Hyde Park, so when I needed an activity for an adult to do with a child, I started looking for something outside the usual. That's when I found the wild green parakeets of Hyde Park! These parakeets are of the ring-necked variety and have a squawk that sounds like a "throttled muppet."

Now I want to go back to London and find them because feeding those big green birds looks like fun to me! Who knew?
