ABOUT ME
Jane DeGray, known to family and friends as Jane May, grew up in Nebraska as one of those children reading any fiction she could get her hands on. While some parents struggled to get their offspring to read a book, Jane’s folks had to pry the book out of her hands to get her to go to sleep. If you ask her husband, he’ll tell you nothing much has changed!
For many years Jane was fortunate to indulge her passion for creative works by teaching English literature, theatre, creative writing, and film/video to students in Nebraska and Texas. Then, while working as a casting director for independent film, (Lifetime’s The Preacher’s Daughter and The Preacher’s Mistress), her attempt at writing a screenplay morphed into her first novel, Time-Crossed Love, and a series was born.
Today she spends her time in Friendswood, Texas writing novels, reading all she can, and traveling the world, always with the next story in mind.
