Pumpkin Pie Anyone?

Nothing like a little Thanksgiving pie baking to get you into the mood for feasting, is there? This is the third year I have had extra help making pies from scratch. Pumpkin pie is a big favorite and always made from my grandmother's recipe. Passed down for at least four generations, it's a bit different from many of the pumpkin pie recipes out there. It's smooth and creamy without lots of extra spices. Yum!

Pinterest has changed my life like it has everyone else's. We had to find a fun vegetable plate to make and this owl caught our eye. What fun to find one even a 6 year old could do by herself! Everyone has to be in the party prep!
